insect romance

SILENCE, the crowd hushed by electric cut
the zinging of energy from technology gone

Weeded in amongst human flesh
frightened I stood afraid

Engulfed by despairing dark
my eyes desperately grasping foothold

Still, BLACK, still
nothingness before sight

Peanut shapes appears bobbing
along with the symphony of gasps

Piercing wind transform my skin
into a statue of Lego blocks

Sudden warmth wrapped my arms
arms, the silent vibrator of fear

His arms the thousand waves
of Caribbean joy and sea

Eases I, the frightened I
into tranquility and peace

How is it so in room scarfed by black
you found me, the girl, silenced by fear?

You in my eyes
a colourful sight
spinning me into daze of white

You in my eyes
light illuminating night
shinning through all the spectrums of life
