5x2 Kan Pai

Spent the night in the pleasant company of Little Ghost andTai Chi .
The two of them were kind enough to accompany me to see a French movie called 5x2.

The french movie describes a couple's love life in reversed chronological order.
Starting at their divorce and ending at the point where they meet in their life. The story sounds simple, but when filmed backwards it makes the heart think. The future is clearly seen as a build up of prior incidents. The colour and the music in the movie was beautiful, warm lush photographic colours, many close up shots of the actor and actress's facial expression and emotions.

I felt sad after the movie though, it showed the reality that I don't want to face. The part of life which is inevitable, I have no control over time, space or emotions. But it also teaches me that no matter what comes I have to keep my childhood innocence of being able to believe that the sun will always shine.

After the movie my friends and I headed to Kan Pai, the best yaki niku place around Taipei. The grilled meat was delicious! We sat at the bar counter because the place was jam packed and the bar tender kept getting the orders wrong; he put dishes that weren't ours on our table. He was funny and kept saying "oh sorry, this is not yours". Little Ghost and I laughed and said "if you make mistake you have to give it to us for free" and that's what he did! It was great! We began chatting with him and discovered that he is also a big fan of jazz. The whole night was filled with free beer, good jazz and fun filled conversation.

After the food Little Ghost and I tried to force Taichi to do a strip dance in the middle of the street, but it was too cold and we were too kind so little ghost and i didn't get to enjoy a show.

5x2 Kan Pai loads of fun~
