As the world evolves, spinning on its axels
She stands as a pixel in the live stream of earth from Google
She waves her hand hoping someone on the other end will see
But no one does because the satellite is so far and the zoom so small
As life streams along, flowing forward on its stern
She reads bytes of knowledge available for free from Yahoo!
She blinks her eye hoping a tear will fall from her despair
But none falls because the words are cold and so is the world

Google earth is just a glimpse at the ideal.. the internet is shrinking the planet and bringing us closer together.. At least one person who doesn't really know u is reading ur stuff on the other side of the world.

The woman's blinks lack tears because she no longer has strength to cry. For the world with all its technological advancements has left her behind.
