Time to graduate--again!

As Summer strolls closer towards my strides, graduation is also trying to hold my hand.
Gone are the fears of failing grades, gone are the fears of no stories to write.
Instead, with each new step in life, arrives new fears to combat.

I've hunted for jobs before without a clear direction of what kind of career I wanted. This time around, the choices are narrower but still I have many things to figure out. The one improvement though is that I have learned to research into jobs and people. My main goal was to secure a job the last time I looked for a job, this time I want to work with people that stimulate and inspire me.

Just now I researched into a company called, "YoChicago" that writes articles about neighborhoods, housing and construction in Chicago. I was interested in writing about neighborhoods but wasn't very excited by the job. Then I read the biographies of the people that worked there and I felt something. Reading about the people is different from actually knowing them, but the persona they shared, writer-by-day and actors-by-night, were so interesting that it made me want to apply and work there.

There's always stiff competition, but I've realised that each application process is practice, of course I don't want to be rejected when I apply, but if I do get turned down the best way to see it is as a practice and room for improvement.
