Lucy In My Head

Lucy talks in soothing voice
swirls of ice cream full of joy
Sometimes I lead, others she
joking junks of yards of weed.
Lucy's here she tells me
best friend for life
never lies or cheats
Papa hurt me I tell she
pumps his fist down mama's cheeks
makes me stand, not allowed to weep.

Whilst zephrs of love brushes before me.

Lucy gigles in hilarious tones
mocking my silliness for being grown
don't think don't think Lucy says to me
thinking makes head swollen hurt and dull
Lucy's right I say to me
any time I think my head does grows.
