Green Green Green

Over the weekend I went to the mountains of Taiwan. It was a long windy drive but well worth it. There were so many mountains overlapping each other, some still had patches of snow like dairy cow prints on them. It was sooooo cold but so fun. I rolled downed the snowy hill and managed to make a great big mess of my clothes.

I enjoyed sitting by the road and staring into the vast greeness, it was so soothing and comforting. I like the way that nothing really changes for miles and miles. I don't like the way my eyes has to see so many things in the city. Time up in the mountains seems to go faster, maybe because my eyes are not intaking so much information per minute, maybe simply because it's quieter. Whatever it was going up the mountain was a well needed holiday.

Now I am back into the busy schedule of my life, so tiring, yet fulfilling at the same time. I am teaching many people English and even though I always feel a little tired before I actually go, once I get there I feel that it is fun. The children I teach are so smart and their naiveness allows them to work hard without questioning why. I think I may have lost the childish ummph within me, or maybe because nothing stimulates me. I love these children because they remind me of how much I can learn if I works hard.
